MAP hand dynamometer

Hand force measuring device, e.g. for rehabilitation treatments after accidents.

The versions differ in the spring sets supplied.

• Particularly suitable for use in rehabilitation centers to determine the closing force of the hand
• Four measurement modes that help medical staff, for example as part of a rehabilitation program, to check the fitness level of the patient's hand and to train it in a controlled manner:
  - Real-time mode: directly displays the current force
  - Peak value mode: shows the maximum force of a handle
  - Average mode: calculates the average force from two hand movements
  - Counting mode: counts the number of pressing operations that exceed a previously defined limit force
• Suitable for detecting reduced hand strength and, among other things, the resulting mortality risk in older people or malnutrition, e.g. in the course of chemotherapy or similar
• Safe and comfortable handling thanks to non-slip rubber handles
• AUTO-OFF function after 1 min, to save battery
• Unit switching from kg to lb possible
• Special version for strength athletes. Due to its dimensions and the enlarged measuring range, it offers an application reserve that takes into account the higher basic strength of strength athletes
• Replaceable springs allow the capacity to be changed quickly (additional spring sets included in delivery). Due to the different degrees of hardness of the individual springs, the hand dynamometer can be used universally for a wide variety of patient groups, such as children, seniors or in sports medicine.
