Conformity assessment (manufacturer initial verification) – your new scale ready to go from the factory
As an authorized manufacturer , we are authorized to conduct the conformity assessment ourselves for scales manufactured by Rhewa Waagenfabrik , in accordance with Section 9 of the German Measurement and Calibration Ordinance (MessEV) . This procedure ensures that your new scale meets all legal requirements and measures accurately. This conformity assessment is also referred to as initial manufacturer verification or initial calibration .
What does this mean specifically for you?
-
No additional effort during initial commissioning: Your scale is delivered by us already calibrated. An appointment with the calibration office is no longer necessary – saving time, coordination, and often costs.
-
Legal certainty right from the start: You can be sure that your scale complies with all regulations and can be used immediately in legal metrology.
-
Everything from a single source: We support you not only with the purchase, but also with all questions relating to calibration and conformity.
And what happens during recalibration?
Even after initial commissioning, we remain your contact: For all future recalibrations , we will coordinate appointments with the relevant calibration authority upon request and prepare your scale technically for testing. This ensures your device always remains operational and compliant with the law.
Conclusion:
Thanks to initial manufacturer calibration, you receive your new Rhewa scale ready for use and legally compliant – directly from the factory. You save yourself the hassle of dealing with the calibration office and benefit from continuous service, even beyond initial commissioning.
