Waterproof scales – robust stainless steel scales with high IP protection

Waterproof scales and moisture-protected scales are designed for use in wet, damp, and dusty work areas. Depending on the model, ingress protection ratings such as IP65, IP67, or IP68 offer a high level of protection against dust and water.

Many models are designed as robust stainless steel scales made of AISI 304 or AISI 316. They are corrosion-resistant, easy to clean, and particularly suitable for hygienically demanding areas. Different designs and weighing ranges are available, including bench scales, platform scales, floor scales, or checkweighers.

Important: The term "waterproof" is often used in a general sense. The decisive factor is the specific IP protection rating of the respective model, as this defines the actual protection against dust and water.
