Robust pit-mounted weighbridges made of precast concrete
Pit-mounted weighbridges made of precast concrete are particularly common. This design is characterized by an extremely robust and durable construction and is designed for long-term use with heavy vehicle loads.
The precast concrete elements form a stable foundation for the weighbridge and are designed for the high loads of daily use. Due to the largely flush-mounted design, the scale can be easily integrated into the existing operational site.
Surface-mounted weighbridges are also available upon request. In practice, they are often used where it is foreseeable that the entire scale will be relocated in the future. Which design is suitable depends on local conditions, available space, and installation requirements, among other factors.
Weighbridges from 8 to 20 meters in length
Our weighbridges are available in various dimensions. Typical scale lengths are between 8 and 20 meters, and the width can be up to 3.5 meters, depending on the model.
This allows for the weighing of small commercial vehicles as well as long tractor-trailers, trucks, and agricultural combinations.
The weighing range of the weighbridge is also selected to suit the specific application. For smaller weighbridges, 30 t or 40 t are typical weighing ranges, for example. For the frequently used 18 to 20-meter-long truck scales, capacities of 50 t, 60 t, or 70 t are particularly common.
Multi-range scales for different requirements
Upon request, a weighbridge can also be designed as a multi-range scale. This provides different scale intervals within different weight ranges.
One example is a 60 t weighbridge that displays in 10 kg increments up to 30 t and in 20 kg increments from 30 to 60 t. This allows for more precise readings at lower vehicle weights while maintaining the large weighing capacity of up to 60 t.
The ideal configuration and readability depend on the intended use and the requirements for weighing.
Weighbridge as a complete system
A modern truck scale consists of more than just the weighing platform. Upon request, the system can be expanded into a complete weighbridge system.

Calibrated and uncalibrated weighbridges
