According to OIML R111:2004, there are 7 different classes of test weights, with E1 being the most accurate and M3 being the least accurate weight class.

E1 High-precision test weights for high-resolution scales with d > 1,000,000 .
E2 Most accurate test weights for high-resolution analytical balances of calibration class I
F1 Fine weights for analytical balances of calibration class I
F2 test weights for very accurate precision scales of calibration class II
M1 precision weights for industrial and commercial scales of calibration class III
