Surveillance cameras for weighbridges

Surveillance cameras for vehicle scales support the monitoring and documentation of weighing processes. They enable a visual check to ensure that a vehicle is positioned completely and correctly on the weighbridge before the weighing is performed. If the weighbridge of a legal-for-trade vehicle scale cannot be viewed from the weighing terminal, a surveillance camera is necessary.

The IP cameras for vehicle scales offered by Elektronikwerk are particularly suitable for outdoor use and, depending on the model, enable reliable image monitoring even in poor lighting conditions. The camera for vehicle scales can be integrated directly into a weighing system.

In combination with the vehicle scale software WWS-F, photos can be taken automatically during a weighing process and saved together with the weighing data. This allows vehicle weighing to be documented and the respective weighing process to be traced later.

A surveillance camera can therefore be a useful addition to truck scales, vehicle scales, and industrial weighing systems. If you have any questions about the right camera, integration into your vehicle scale, or connection to WWS-F, we will be happy to advise you.
