Counting Scale 938 – Precise piece counting for production, warehousing, and logistics

The Counting Scale 938 is a compact and high-performance industrial counting scale for the fast and precise counting of small and large parts. It is ideally suited for production, manufacturing, warehousing, order picking, shipping, and logistics, combining precise weighing with convenient piece counting.

The ability to connect a second weighing platform allows the counting scale to be expanded into a compact counting/weighing system. This enables small and large parts in boxes, containers, or on pallets to be reliably detected and counted.

Convenient operation and clear display

The triple-segmented LCD display with blue backlight shows weight, unit weight, and piece count simultaneously. This makes all important values immediately visible during weighing and counting.

The robust ABS housing with stainless steel weighing platform is designed for daily use. Four height-adjustable feet and an integrated spirit level allow for precise leveling of the scale, ensuring a stable base and reproducible measurement results.

The dustproof and water-protected membrane keypad with a numerical keypad allows for quick and easy entry of tare values, reference piece counts, reference weights, and target values. The tactile buttons feature audible feedback.

Precise piece counting and target value control

In addition to classic weighing, the Counting Scale 938 offers extensive functions for professional piece counting. These include weighing, counting, totalizing, taring, and zeroing.

With the optimization function for the reference unit weight, counting accuracy can be improved for different parts. Weight values and piece counts can also be totaled—practical, for example, during inventory, stock control, and order picking.

For fast control procedures, the scale features an adjustable target value control. The LO/OK/HI LEDs and an acoustic signal indicate immediately whether a determined weight or piece count is below, within, or above the specified target value.

Battery operation for flexible use

The integrated 6 V / 4 Ah battery with charger enables mains-independent operation. Depending on usage, the operating time is up to approx. 55 hours with backlight or approx. 120 hours without backlight.

Additionally, mains operation with 110–230 V is possible. The scale can continue to be used for weighing while charging. An automatic shut-off feature when not in use is set to 30 minutes by default and can be adjusted.
