The PCB 300-2 precision balance with a weighing plate of 105 mm sets new standards in laboratory and school environments. It is ideal for a wide range of applications in Industry 4.0 applications, research, education, and precise measurement tasks. The balance impresses with its precise, reliable, and fast weighing and is compatible with school-specific software solutions such as Vernier® or LabQuest®. Thanks to the KERN School Protocol, measurement values can be easily transferred to a PC, laptop, or tablet via the USB interface and used for analysis and visualization.

Industry 4.0 compatible – flexible interface solutions
With the integrated KERN Universal Port (KUP), external interface adapters such as RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, WLAN, or Ethernet can be connected effortlessly. Retrofitting additional interfaces is simple and requires no complicated installation, as the adapters are simply plugged in. This allows weighing data to be conveniently transferred to networks, computers, smartphones, tablets, or printers. Furthermore, control commands and data inputs can be sent directly to the balance via the connected devices. With the optional KERN KUP-13 Extension Box, it is even possible to use up to three KUP interfaces simultaneously.

Intuitive operation and practical functions
The PCB 300-2 follows a uniform and user-friendly operating philosophy. It offers functions such as:

• PRE-TARE function for manual subtraction of a container weight, ideal for filling level monitoring.

• Recipe function for the precise adding of mixtures with total weight control.

• Checkweighing with tolerance range, supported by an optical signal for portioning, dosing, and sorting.

• Freely programmable weighing units, e.g., display in g/m, g/m², or custom units.

Safe and stable weighing
A special anti-shock system between the weighing plate and the load cell minimizes vibrations and guarantees fast, reliable results. The balance comes with a protective working cover. It can be operated via mains adapter, batteries (4 x 1.5V AA), or an optional rechargeable battery.
