The MCWHU "HULK" series crane scale is a high-performance industrial crane scale for the precise weighing of heavy loads in demanding environments. Its high load capacity , extremely robust construction , and dual safety system make it ideal for use in industrial plants, warehouses, production facilities, steel mills, and logistics centers .

This digital hanging scale enables the lifting, weighing, and moving of loads and can be permanently integrated into existing crane and lifting systems . Its compact design ensures minimal space requirements and maximum installation flexibility.

Maximum safety and compliance with standards

The integrated double safety system makes the MCWHU "HULK" suitable for permanent installation in lifting systems . The crane scale complies with all relevant directives and standards, including 2006/42/EC , UNI EN 13155/2009 , UNI EN 13889 , and 2014/30/EU . It is also optionally available as a calibrated crane scale (CE-M) for legally compliant use in the trade.

Optimal readability and intuitive operation

The large LED display with 40 mm high red digits ensures excellent readability even from a distance. The splash-proof keypad with five function keys (Zero, Automatic Tare, Mode, Print, On/Off) enables safe and convenient operation even under challenging conditions. A plexiglass cover for the display and keypad protects the control unit from dirt.

Standard radio remote control with clearly defined functions

The standard radio remote control (433 MHz, range up to 50 m) significantly increases ease of use. It has the following functions:

• Zeros

• Tara

• Activate/deactivate function (e.g., HOLD or PEAK)

• Print function

• Switching off the crane scale

The remote control thus enables safe control from a distance , without direct contact with the load or scale.

Flexible weighing functions for industrial use

The MCWHU "HULK" offers several operating modes , including peak value display , hold function , and weight totaling . With an accuracy of ±0.03% of the weighing range, this heavy-duty crane scale is a reliable solution for precise weight measurement.

Extremely robust construction for harsh environments

The housing, made of fire-hardened, painted sheet iron with IP67 protection , reliably protects the scale from dust, dirt, and moisture. The operating temperature range of -10 to +40 °C ( plus +80 °C optionally with a heat shield) allows for use even under extreme thermal conditions.

Energy supply

Standard features include an easily replaceable battery pack with approximately 60 hours of runtime , a 230V power adapter (EU, UK, US) for charging, and the option for 24/7 continuous operation with optional accessories. The device also features an automatic shut-off function to save energy.

Factory options (available only upon request)

• Separate charging station for continuous 24/7 operation
  230 VAC / 50 Hz charging unit for uninterrupted 24-hour operation , including additional battery kit and adapter for external recharging .

• Alibi storage
  Internal storage for tamper-proof storage of weighing data , particularly relevant for applications requiring calibration and documentation .

• Real-time clock with date and time
  For accurate logging of weighing processes and printouts.
