The Potato Starch Scale KSW-2 is the ideal solution for simple, fast, and exact analysis of the starch content and dry matter of potatoes. Thanks to the WWA-1 evaluation device, direct reading of results is possible without complex conversion tables.

Precise Measurement Thanks to State-of-the-Art Technology

The measurement is based on the underwater weight of the potatoes. A robust stainless steel basket holds between 3 kg and 6 kg of potatoes, which are weighed underwater after the scale has been tared. The starch content and dry matter can be read immediately on the WWA-1 display device – without manual calculation!

How the Measurement Works:

1. Fill water tank 2/3 full

2. Switch on WWA-1 – display shows 0g

3. Hang up basket – weight is displayed

4. Press tare button – set scale to 0g

5. Lower empty basket underwater and save with F2

6. Remove basket and fill with potatoes (3 kg – 6 kg)

7. Save potato weight with F1

8. Immerse basket in water – WWA-1 automatically displays starch content and dry matter
