Remote Display WWD-4 – Large Display with Traffic Light Function for Vehicle Scales and Industry

The WWD-4 remote display is a powerful large display, additional display, and remote weight display for clearly visible presentation of weight values and process information. With a digit height of 120 mm, the display is easily readable from up to 60 meters away. Thanks to its high-contrast display, it remains well readable even in direct sunlight.

Large Display with Five Selectable Colors

5 display colors are selectable: green, red, yellow, blue, and white. Additionally, the brightness of the digits and letters can be adjusted in four levels, allowing the display to be optimally adapted to varying light conditions and operating environments.

Particularly practical is the integrated traffic light function. The colors red, yellow, and green can be used to visualize operating states, clearances, or warning messages. This makes the WWD-4 remote display particularly suitable for vehicle scales, access controls, loading areas, and industrial control systems.

The most important settings can be conveniently made via a button directly on the large display.

Robust Housing for Industry and Outdoor Use

The durable housing of the WWD-4 is made of a sturdy aluminum profile and is protected against dust, water, and moisture according to IP66/IP68. This makes the outdoor display suitable even for demanding operating conditions.

With a digit height of 120 mm and a range of up to 60 meters, the display offers excellent remote readability. The display is therefore also suitable for larger halls, access roads, production areas, and outdoor facilities.

Flexible Interfaces and Protocols

For easy integration into existing weighing systems, controls, and plants, various standard interfaces are available, including RS232, RS485, and CAN.

The WWD-4 supports numerous protocols, for example, Rhewa, Kern, and Systec. Further protocols or customer-specific adaptations are possible on request. This allows the WWD-4 large display to be flexibly integrated into various weighing and automation systems.

Two Display Variants

The large display is available with a single-line, six-digit display with 120 mm digit height. Alternatively, a two-line version with 60 mm digit height is available. Both digits and letters can be displayed.

The display size is 481 x 120 mm. The 64 x 16 pixel matrix display has a total of 1,024 pixels and allows for flexible display of information.

Power Supply and Delivery

The WWD-4 can be operated with both 230 VAC and 9 to 32 VDC. The wide-range input supports an input voltage of 85 to 305 VAC. The maximum power consumption is 60 W.

The scope of delivery includes a 5-meter connection cable 4 x 0.25 mm². Other cable lengths or versions with connectors are available upon request.

Optional Weather Protection Roof made of Stainless Steel

For outdoor use, a matching weather protection roof made of stainless steel is available as an accessory. The specially folded stainless steel sheet is pushed between the wall and the housing of the remote display during assembly. This protects the display from direct rain and reduces direct sunlight when the sun is high.

The weather protection roof for the WWD-4 is made of 1.5 mm thick stainless steel and has dimensions of 110 x 710 x 400 mm (L x W x H).

The WWD-4 remote display offers a digit height of 120 mm for single-line display with six digits or 60 mm for two-line display. The housing measures 610 x 187 x 55 mm without fittings, and 640 x 187 x 55 mm with fittings.
