Thanks to its robust construction, easy operation, and flexible data acquisition, the scale is ideal for daily use in the field as well as in storage and production areas.

Versatile Weighing Platforms for Every Application

The Harvester Scale EHW is available with various high-quality weighing platforms:

• BMM platform (square) in sizes from 300 × 300 mm to 800 × 800 mm
• BMR platform (rectangular) in sizes from 335 × 305 mm to 650 × 500 mm
• BMS platform as a particularly robust version in sizes from 150 × 150 mm to 500 × 500 mm

Depending on the model, weighing ranges from 3 kg to 300 kg are available.

All platforms are optionally available as:

• Completely stainless steel
• Painted steel sub-structure with stainless steel cover

Optionally, all platforms can be equipped with a sturdy stand. For rectangular BMS platforms, mounting the stand on the long side is also possible.

High-Precision 83sigma Indicator

The powerful 83sigma weighing terminal is used as the indicator. This EC type-approved weighing terminal of class III was specially developed for professional use and convinces with the highest precision and reliability.

Integrated Data Logger Function

For the harvester scale, the 83sigma is equipped with a practical data logger function.

The recorded weighing data can be conveniently saved:

• Transfer of all data to a standard USB stick
• Connection via cable with USB plug
• Optionally with robust IP65-protected USB built-in socket including protective cap
• Optimal protection of the USB stick from moisture and dirt

Alternatively, the data – for example, in stationary use – can be transferred directly via Ethernet to a PC or a company network.

A data record includes the following information:

• Serial number
• Date
• Time
• Gross weight
• Tare weight (empty container weight)
• Net weight
• Product
• Employee

The file generated on the USB stick can be easily opened with Excel.

Flexible Power Supply

The harvest scale can be operated flexibly:

• 230 V AC mains operation
• 10–30 V DC, for example via customer's car battery or power bank
• Optionally with the external battery pack AP12/6 (12 V DC / 6 Ah) for mobile use in the field

This makes the system suitable for both stationary and mobile applications.

Optional with Barcode Scanner and Label Printer

For particularly fast data acquisition, the harvester scale can optionally be equipped with a barcode scanner.

The robust Granit Ultra Barcode Scanner is particularly recommended, as it is perfectly suited for outdoor use thanks to IP65 protection against dust and moisture.

Additionally, a TM-L90 label printer can be connected to create and print barcodes.

The specially developed harvester program is available in several versions and adapts optimally to your workflow.

Version 1 – Manual Data Entry

Direct entry on the 83sigma:

Version 2 – Database-Supported Acquisition

Additionally, databases are available for:

In addition to numbers, product names, employee names, and container designations can also be saved. This facilitates management and reduces input errors.

Version 3 – Barcode-Supported Operation

The most convenient and fastest method is via a barcode scanner.

The operator scans consecutively:

Only after all necessary information has been fully recorded is the weighing triggered. This ensures particularly secure, fast, and error-free data acquisition. Even the order of the scanned barcodes does not matter.

Alternatively, the system can be individually configured so that, for example, only employees and containers are queried per weighing.
