This certification, obtained following rigorous testing by an independent laboratory, confirms the robustness and reliability of the load cells, making them suitable for the most demanding industrial environments.
What is IP69K certification?
IP69K certification is one of the highest levels of protection in the water-resistance standards specified for industrial environments that require frequent and intensive cleaning. The IP index consists of two digits: the first digit indicates the level of protection against solids (in this case, dust), and the second against liquids. The "9K" rating is particularly significant as it guarantees resistance to high-pressure and high-temperature cleaning.
To obtain this certification, the sensors were subjected to tests that included the following:
- High-pressure water jet: Exposed to a water jet with a pressure of up to 100 bar.
- High temperature: The water jet is heated up to 80 °C, simulating the harshest cleaning conditions in the industry.
- Multiple spray angles: The sensors are exposed to a jet directed from several angles to ensure complete protection and to guarantee that no infiltration compromises their function.
