The next generation of our large displays is here! With the new remote display WWD-4, we are presenting the successor to the WWD-2. We have further developed the display in many areas: more colors, more brightness, and even more flexibility.
Whether for a truck scale, industrial plant, loading area, or control system – the WWD-4 ensures that weight values and important information are quickly and reliably recognized, even from a greater distance.
🌈 5 Colors instead of 3 – more possibilities
One of the most important innovations of the WWD-4: Instead of the previous 3 colors on the WWD-2, there are now 5 different colors available:
🟢 Green
🔴 Red
🟡 Yellow
🔵 Blue
⚪ White
This allows displays and information to be designed even more individually. The different colors can be used, for example, to display operating states, warnings, releases, or process information.
Of course, the proven traffic light function with red, yellow, and green is also retained. This is particularly practical for vehicle scales, for example, to clearly signal entry, waiting, or exit.
💡 Even brighter – even better visibility
The new WWD-4 has also been significantly improved in terms of brightness. The digits and letters are now even brighter and therefore very easy to read even in difficult lighting conditions.
Especially in outdoor applications and direct sunlight, the improved brightness shows its strength.
And what if it needs to be a little less bright? No problem: The brightness can be adjusted in four levels. This allows the display to be optimally adapted to the respective environmental conditions.
With a digit height of 120 mm, the WWD-4 is very easy to read from up to 60 meters away.

The WWD-4 is designed for reliable use in demanding environments. The robust housing made of durable aluminum profile has protection classes IP66/IP68 and is therefore optimally protected against dust and moisture.

The WWD-4 also demonstrates flexibility in communication. Standard interfaces such as RS232, RS485, and CAN enable integration into numerous existing systems and weighing systems.
Various protocols are supported, such as Rhewa, Kern, and Systec. Customer-specific adaptations are also possible upon request.
This means that the WWD-4 can be used not only as a remote display for weight values, but also as a large display, secondary display, outdoor display, or display board for process information.
Developed and produced in Germany
Like many of our solutions, the WWD-4 is developed and produced here in the factory. We combine robust hardware with flexible interfaces and practical functions for industrial weighing technology.
